Every hero needs their loyal companions - and we couldn’t have wished for better ones. Our best men & maid of honour have stood by our side through both good and mad times, and now they have the honour of standing with us as our adventure truly begins.

Sandra is Camilla’s maid of honour - and her unofficial bodyguard.
They first met behind the counter at IKEA in England several hundred years ago, when Sandra heroically rescued Camilla from an awkward conversation with a colleague. Just a few weeks later, an almost-homeless Camilla moved in with her for the summer - and ever since, Sandra has saved her from more than a few unfortunate situations.
Over the years, they’ve had countless brilliant ideas for weekend adventures — which, for some mysterious reason, have often ended in near-catastrophic and occasionally life-threatening outcomes. Thankfully, it's nothing that a bit of figure skating on TV and a glass of wine can’t fix.
Being a maid of honour can be a demanding role, but this bride couldn’t be in safer hands. Sandra is someone who makes things happen — bursting with ideas, fearless, and a walking testament to true girl power. She always shows up for her friends, doing most things with style, a big heart of gold, and just a hint of innocent sarcasm.
Now she’s planning her own wedding, while simultaneously keeping bride Camilla firmly on track. Two brides-to-be, lots of tulle, glitter and pearls - and plenty to raise a glass to 🥂

Christian Bortne is one of Ørjan’s two best men, and they’ve known each other since childhood through mutual friends — not entirely by chance, given their shared interest in role-playing games.
Their friendship has grown steadily over the years, and it was high up in the mountains on a snowy day that they both realised this was a bond that would last a lifetime. Eventually, they both moved east to the capital and have since established themselves well in the city — while still staying closely connected, even through busy everyday lives.
When it came time to choose witnesses, it felt only natural for Christian to be one of them. Especially as he’s shown the ultimate trust by choosing Ørjan as godfather to his two daughters. This is a friendship built on mutual trust and deep respect.
Christian represents the west coast — and an important circle of friendships from that part of the country that means a great deal to the groom.
Christian has a real talent for bringing the group together and will play a key role in keeping everyone moving in sync with the programme in Tuscany. When guidance is needed — and things need to be followed through — Christian is the one to step in. He’s exceptionally patient, quite possibly ten times more patient than Ørjan, which will be an invaluable quality during what are guaranteed to be busy, eventful days. When needed, Christian is exactly the kind of person who knows how to slow the pace and steady the moment.

Jens Christian represents the other half of the groom. With half a lifetime spent in eastern Norway, the two witnesses together symbolise exactly that — where west meets east, forming the whole that reflects Ørjan and his journey.
Ørjan met JC through the gaming industry, where JC was working on projects related to products developed by Funcom. It didn’t take long before the two became close friends, a connection that soon led to many trips beyond Norway’s borders.
One of JC’s defining traits is his decisiveness. He’s someone who carries out every task with full commitment and can always be relied upon when asked to get things done — no shortcuts, no half measures.
They share many interests, wine being one of them — which feels particularly fitting when the wedding is taking place at an Italian vineyard. Not many years ago, the bride, groom and JC went on a wine safari in Tuscany together, so choosing this very region for the wedding may not be entirely coincidental.
What’s also certain is that JC and Christian complement each other beautifully in their roles as best men. Together, they’ll make sure all guests are in the very best of hands.

Manuel Fraga is a close and trusted friend of the groom, and their story goes all the way back to their younger years, when they first met through role-playing games. Their friendship grew even stronger when Manuel, together with other close friends, founded Netropolis, Norway’s first internet café. In many ways, Manuel has been a driving force and a key influence in Ørjan’s journey to where he is today — with a career path that began at Netropolis and eventually led Ørjan east to the capital.
Like the groom, Manuel has a keen eye for planning and a deep appreciation for the finer details. It therefore felt completely natural to ask him to take on the role of Master of Ceremonies. Perhaps it’s no coincidence that Ørjan himself was toastmaster at Ida and Manuel’s wedding a few years ago. Both are at their very best when good friends and family come together.
Manuel will be our Master of Ceremonies throughout the entire celebration. Over several days, he’ll be the conductor ensuring glasses are clinked at just the right moments — and as that conductor, he’ll be a vital link between Castello del Trebbio, our guests, and the couple.
We are exceptionally well looked after, and we truly look forward to creating this adventure together with our witnesses and toastmaster. We have a winning team behind us.

You’d be hard-pressed to find a more happy-go-lucky soul. He handles wedding talk and glitter chaos with impressive calm, and seems — mysteriously — immune to stress. He complements Sandra and the rest of the wedding team perfectly, and is very much appreciated for it.
